Comfort Exchange for My Stearns and Foster Ann Marie Luxury Firm Mattress

Q: Two weeks ago we purchased a Stearns and Foster Ann Marie Luxury Firm mattress from Sleep Country. It started sagging on each side after one week. It is so bad that I now have a hard time rolling out of bed. My back hurts so much that I am in pain all day. I want to return it but cannot before 60 days. I guess I will sleep on the sofa. Is there a good mattress out there or are they all junk? Incidentally, the last mattress we had was a Beautyrest World Class that was still perfect after 10 years of use. I would give anything to have that mattress back again.

Back Pain

Q: My wife and I want a king size mattress and have $1,300.00 to spend total (mattress, boxspring, frame, tax, shipping, etc.). We are both side and back sleepers. We both toss and turn (but that might be because our mattress needs to be replaced). I prefer a medium mattress while my wife prefers a softer mattress. We both have back pain from a combination of scoliosis, bulging disc(s), and pinched nerves. We are both around 200 pounds and not tall. We want a mattress that will last 8-10 years and that we do not have to buy a topper for now or at a later date.

Fibromyalgia Mattress Question

Joyce asked: I am thinking of either the Stearns & Foster Duval Street Ultra Firm Tight Top or the Stearns & Foster Blisswood Luxury Firm Tight Top (king size). I have back pain and fibromyalgia, and don't sleep well on a soft mattress, but I don't know if I might be going too firm with an Ultra Firm?

It is impossilble to say which is the absolute mattress for you personally however most customers with fibromyalgia choose a softer mattress. Either of these mattresses are good picks but I would suggest you look at the Kimberley in the Estate collection. The Kimberley has a layer of memory foam that is reported to have a therapeutic value to people that suffer with fibromyalgia.
