The Simmons ComforPedic Advanced Memory Foam mattresses are the finest quality and one of the best values on the market today. I put together a mattress comparison between the Simmons ComforPedic Southampton Plush and TempurPedic Cloud Supreme. The ComforPedic has superior quality in the comfort layers (top of the mattress) and the support layers (below the comfort layers). The comfort layers have "Next Generation" (or NXG) memory foam which dissipates heat and has no "break-in" period. The ComforPedic mattress feels the same in your bedroom as in the showroom floor. In addition, it will feel the same at year 10 as it did on Day 1. The Next Generation memory foam is quicker to respond to your movement when in bed. This makes it much more comfortable than regular memory foam. The support layers in the ComforPedic Advanced models are far superior also. The foam core (with Transflexion Comfort Technology) is precompressed so it will not settle over the years. This keeps the mattress from having body imprints down the road.
