Q: Hi, I just bought the Patricia S&F Mattress. I didn't even get it delivered yet. My back is terrible. After 6 months I am getting rid of an Embody Insightful mattress because the sales man that recommended this mattress I believe was just out to make a fast buck.
I am 300 lbs. I tried the Simmons Black Devin and I really liked that but when I got up my shoulders hurt. After every mattress I tried I resorted back to the Patricia. One thing that I'm nervous about was the side of the mattress. It seems like the edge is very soft or there is nothing that is holding it up if I sit there. When I lay on the side of the mattress it seems to be ok. Since I got a 100 day trial, I took a chance.
I was going to try the Luxury Estate Ultra Firm but I couldn't find it.
Can you tell me the difference between the Luxury Estate Ultra Firm and the Estate and if I made a mistake by not getting the Luxury Estate Ultra Firm? Can you tell me why the side of the Estate Ultra Firm feels very soft or has no support when you sit on it? BTW, I tried the FoxBridge. I felt the Patricia was firmer but the side was much better on the FoxBridge. I guess you can cross reference the names from Mattress Firm. I really appreciate it; I can't find any information at all.
A: If your shoulders hurt when you got up from the Simmons Black Devin, you most certainly do not want to go with the Estate Ultra Firm. If you're 300 pounds, I wouldn't recommend sitting on the sides.
