Simmons Black Penelope vs. Simmons Black Desiree

Q: As a side sleeper who has always slept on high end Beautyrests, I love the Black Penelope but queen prices here are very high. Plus, I see quite a few blogs where customers complain of major sagging (across Beautyrest lines) and the consensus is the manufacturer's reps are not honest in honoring the warranty. I was considering a Black Lexi Extra Firm and adding a latex or foam topper. Would I get the same effect> Would it get hot? Also, considering the NxG Legend Superplush--same concerns as Penelope. A: Latex toppers usually sleep cool. You may want to consider going with the Simmons Beautyrest Black Desiree Plush, which is $900 less than the Penelope. If the Plush version is too hard, then you could buy a latex topper. I've had no problems with the Desiree sagging at all, and we have sold a lot of them.
